Tray Tables Up is a window into the world that we all share. It’s a written and photographic journal of people we meet and experiences we amass from our travels. Most of our waking moments are spent planning our next adventure. We live for these experiences and for the transformation that travel and food exploration brings – including the ones that lead us well out of our comfort zones, whether it’s related to food, people or culture.

But… who are we? Joycelyn is a food scientist by day. Steve gets by as an entrepreneurial Internet marketer.  We’re a couple of regular folks residing just outside New York City. We’ve discovered an insatiable appetite for travel, food adventures and connecting with people who have similar interests.
